Had the luxury of going back to Anne’s house with plenty of room for 5 of us plus me- so nice even indoors, as their room is lovely & light. Started off with an easy little experiment again , trying some free form poppies, again with salt & cling film- putting an emphasis on the black centre. Then left to dry while we tackled the remparts of Sillans-la-Cascade- thought they’d enjoy playing around with the old stone bricks etc. Then time to brush off the salt etc from the poppies, & enjoy the vibrant reds & blacks- never know how they are going to look until dry.

It was more of a challenge & although everyone ended up with fun paintings I think I’ll give something easier next week- based on the wonderful clouds over the mountains that I saw on the way home!
